First Visit

During your initial visit at Pineland Dental a foundation should be formed to carry you through our relationship. The Pineland Dental team values your time and intends to make the most of the visit. A foundation will be created including medical and dental histories, your main concerns, and any fears regarding dental therapies. A through extra-oral and intraoral exam will lead us to developing an appropriate treatment plan for you.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • X-rays (if applicable)
  • A list of your current medications
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e.,. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) . Some medical conditions require premedication, the administration of antibiotics prior to any dental therapy.
